A Meaningful Team Building: Subito.it Blends Learning and Solidarity
Subito.it asked us to organise an engaging and educational team-building event before the holiday season, selecting an easily accessible location that aligned with sustainability values and a connection to nature. The event aimed to impact both the team and the community in a positive way by fostering collaboration, improving interpersonal communication, and encouraging active learning to tackle professional challenges. The goal was to create an immersive experience that combined personal growth with social responsibility.
Smart Eventi's Proposal
Subito.it and Smart Eventi: A Team-Building Feast of Solidarity and Creativity
To meet Subito.it’s needs, Smart Eventi suggested a unique location: a 17th-century farmhouse surrounded by vast grounds, despite being located in downtown Milan. This historic and charming setting was ideal for the company’s first team-building experience, combining accessibility with an authentic atmosphere.
The event began with a welcome coffee and breakfast featuring farm-to-table products. The team then participated in our popular "Bike for Children" activity, assembling bicycles for underprivileged children. These were later donated to a local community in collaboration with a national foundation, fostering a strong sense of purpose and social impact.
After a lunch featuring local specialties at the farmhouse’s restaurant, participants relaxed in the garden before taking part in the Kokedama workshop. This Japanese activity, which involves creating arrangements with plants and flowers in moss-lined pots, allowed attendees to blend creativity with hands-on work. Each participant crafted a Christmas tree-shaped Kokedama, taking home a living symbol of their shared experience.
The event concluded in the late afternoon, leaving participants with unforgettable memories of a day dedicated to teamwork, sustainability, and personal growth.
