Gala dinner for Marcel Wanders and Decortè Beauty
Gala dinner
Customer Request
The famous Dutch design studio Marcel Wanders contacted us to organise a gala dinner to celebrate the collaboration with the Japanese make-up brand Decortè Beauty, asking for a typical Italian location situated in the centre of Milan.
Smart Eventi proposal
We proposed an elegant and refined room with a view on the Duomo, to satisfy our customer's requests in the best way. It is situated inside a famous modern art museum which exposes masterpieces of the XX century arts and which is situated in the real centre of Milan.
The gala dinner was organised to celebrate the collaboration of the Japanese make-up brand Decortè Beauty with Marcel Wanders, a famous Dutch designer who handled the brand packaging.
It was a really exclusive event which saw international and Italian journalists, Hollywood actors, designers and the Japanese delegation of Decortè brand as protagonists.
We also managed the catering and we proposed an excellent menu which offered delicacies from the famous kitchen created by chef Nobu, therefore consisting in sushi, between amazing cooking experiments and original combinations which mixed the Japanese culture and the arts of the Dutch designer Marcel Wanders.
In the bar area there were professional barmen who made drinks which reminded of Japan decorated with edible flowers.
For the entertainment we organised, instead, an arch quartet which executed, during dinner, emotional performances on the notes of the harmonious traditional Japanese music.
In the end, concerning the decoration, there was an imperial table adorned by beautiful flowers from Holland used as centrepieces, then recalled by the colourful carpet in the room, and amazing handmade seat markers for every tablemate.
