The ask was straightforward: a mountain venue reachable within an hour and a half of Trieste, offering relaxation, togetherness and just enough adventure to make a group experience genuinely memorable, well away from the usual corporate away-day formula.

We identified a venue around an hour from Trieste, ideally suited to hosting the group of ten in a setting that felt both refined and genuinely down-to-earth. On day one, following an afternoon arrival, guests stayed at a highly comfortable property just ten minutes from Monte Zoncolan, where the locally sourced cuisine won over every palate. The standout moment of the day was the Ice Building team-building activity: an ice-sculpting challenge in which the group carved a life-size penguin, a fitting tribute to the mountain chill. The evening wrapped up with a traditional dinner of Friulian specialities. Day two was given over to a snowshoe hike across Monte Zoncolan, followed by lunch at a mountain hut serving locally sourced fare, before the group headed home in the afternoon.
