The Client's Request
Espo&Cartotec chooses Milan for its corporate event debut
Espo&Cartotec was after a venue in Milan that was easy to reach by car and had parking, not necessarily in the city centre. The brief called for an exclusive space, complete with a meeting room, a networking area and a dedicated spot for the closing cocktail. As this was the first edition of the event, and a particularly important one for the client, the priority was keeping costs as tight as possible, with an eye on a possible repeat should things go well.
Smart Eventi's Proposal
Country chic in Milan: Espo&Cartotec’s perfect venue
Smart Eventi selected a truly unique venue: 500 square metres of indoor space split across four air-conditioned rooms, fitted with functional technical systems and designed for maximum comfort within a warm, harmonious setting, complete with fine terracotta flooring, soaring vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and generous windows overlooking one of Milan's most important parks. Outside, an ancient farmyard of around 800 square metres houses a greenhouse seating up to 200 guests, surrounded by more than 200,000 square metres of grounds. Country chic in mood, set among greenery yet easy to reach, with in-house suppliers helping to keep costs down. Facilities included: spaces for teambuilding, coworking and training, WiFi, a PA system, a screen, projector and microphone, internal parking for over 100 cars and 18 hectares of green space, all adding up to a bespoke experience for corporate and private events alike.
