The Client's Request
Teknoservice partners with GECO & Smart Eventi for World Environment Day
To mark World Environment Day, Teknoservice entrusted GECO & Smart Eventi with the concept and delivery of an event centred on sustainability and the circular economy, designed to involve around 180 children from Year 4 primary classes, along with their teachers, in an immersive, hands-on experience. The venue was something special: a historic building, once a Savoy royal residence, in Turin, with its own adjoining park. The brief called for a fully bespoke project, from format to logistics, with the utmost care given to safety and quality.
Smart Eventi's Proposal
The Earth Mission: a treasure hunt through the four elements
GECO & Smart Eventi brought to life the format "The Earth Mission: Save the Planet!", an educational treasure hunt built around the four elements of nature: Earth, Water, Air and Fire. The eight participating classes were split into small groups, each tackling a bespoke journey made up of logic challenges, themed quizzes, creative workshops, environmental riddles and team activities, all designed to build collaboration, creativity, observation skills and ecological awareness. The team looked after every single detail: from the narrative concept to the graphic design of the game materials, from the bespoke maps and challenges through to coordinating staff and entertainers, technical support, logistics, set-up and participant transfers. The whole event was run according to ISO 20121 principles, ensuring flawless organisation in keeping with the project's educational and sustainability goals and upholding the strict security standards that are paramount when planning an event for children.
Achieved Results
Setting new standards in environmental education
The initiative successfully engaged over 180 students, delivering an absorbing educational experience that let them learn the principles of sustainability through hands-on activities, teamwork and experiential learning. Collaboration between children, teachers and organisers turned complex themes, such as the circular economy, water conservation, air quality and composting, into simple, engaging activities. GECO & Smart Eventi's integrated management ensured smooth coordination, safety and quality, strengthening COVAR14's role in environmental education for the next generation.
