A sensational rebranding event for Cornerstone OnDemand
For the third consecutive year, Cornerstone OnDemand chose Smart Eventi to organise the Connect Live Event Milan, the Italian stop of a series of travelling events that the American company has been running worldwide for a decade for its clients and users. Unlike previous editions, structured as a full day of panels, this year's brief called for condensing the event into a single afternoon, opening with a welcome coffee and closing with an aperitivo. One essential requirement was a dedicated area for five sponsors, which meant finding enough space within the catering area for their desks. On the image side, the brief asked for a simple, clean set-up that would still showcase the company's newly launched global rebrand, as a leading developer of software and platforms for the human resources sector.
Smart Eventi's Proposal
A historic venue, ideal for modern events
Although new venues were also proposed, the final choice fell on a space already used two years earlier: a guarantee for the client, as well as one of the most prestigious venues in Milan. Right in the city centre, easily reachable by public transport, with a view of the Duomo and a perfect balance between historic charm and modern facilities, this historic building stands out for its prestige, size and exclusivity, as well as offering spaces perfectly suited to an event for 120 guests. Once the venue was confirmed, work focused on the running order, the set-up of the spaces and the aperitivo menu. To make the get-together even more engaging, a DJ set was suggested in place of simple background music. Colour played a central role, acting as the key device for telling the story of Cornerstone OnDemand's new global rebrand, carried through on every brandable feature of the venue, from the entrance desk to the monitors and screens visible as soon as guests walked in. Despite the training-focused nature of the meeting, the atmosphere stayed lively and engaging, so much so that the DJ set kicked off at five in the afternoon. Beautiful as it is, the venue sits in the heart of the historic centre and comes with complex logistical requirements, particularly around loading and unloading, which the Smart Eventi team managed with skill and experience.

The event was a great success. Despite the shorter format compared with previous editions, the quality of the experience was undiminished, once again confirming the venue as a winning choice that never fails to impress, especially in the eyes of international guests. This year's collaboration involved new Cornerstone OnDemand contacts, who placed their full trust in Smart Eventi from the outset, valuing the support provided at every stage of the organisation and thoroughly enjoying the event.
