Team Building
Barilla, an Italian multinational company in the food sector, asked us to organize a team building in the beautiful area of Val D'Orcia in Tuscany for the Supply Chain department. The group consisted of 16 managers and directors of worldwide offices.
The team building was to be focused on sustainability, territory and traditions, all values that the Barilla brand gives its consumers for years.
So we organized a Treasure Hunt that touched three countries: San Quirico D'Orcia, Pienza and Montepulciano. In each country the teams had to overcome some missions to discover the landscape, the typical products and traditions of the area.
The activity, which lasted the whole morning, ended in Montepulciano with a lunch in the oldest restaurant in the country, "Cafè Poliziano", near the house of the famous poet from which it takes its name.
In the afternoon we took the group to visit a cheese factory at Pieza, where the famous cheese is produced. At the end of the visit, the participants were greeted by a cheese tasting of different seasoning and flavoring.
The day ended with the awarding of the winning team and the vision of a very funny movie on the activity.
