For the fourth consecutive year, IAD Italy entrusted Smart Eventi with the organisation of its annual corporate convention, confirming a long-standing and well-established partnership. The brief focused on delivering a high-impact business event designed to engage and surprise the audience. An initial circus-inspired idea evolved into the theme “The Greatest Show”, shaping an event structured as a continuous sequence of performances, visual highlights and unexpected moments. The convention was conceived to maintain a strong pace and sustain audience attention throughout, turning the entire programme into an immersive show experience.
Smart Eventi’s Proposal
An iconic Milan venue for IAD Italia’s convention
To bring IAD Italy’s concept to life, Smart Eventi selected a distinctive Milan venue for corporate events that the client had never used before, perfectly suited to the show-driven nature of the project. The presence of existing technical equipment on site made it possible to optimise costs while staying fully aligned with the allocated budget. The visual identity of the event was enhanced through tailored event design and set-up solutions, including scenographic catering carts and gold seating for the audience, chosen to elevate the overall look and break away from standard layouts. Entertainment played a central role, with a dynamic programme featuring acrobatic dancers, LED and laser performances, stilt walkers and a DJ set that sustained the energy of the event.

The event was successfully delivered despite its high level of complexity, particularly in relation to stage planning and programme coordination. Careful coordination of timings and on-stage activity ensured narrative consistency and smooth transitions between show elements. Solid operational management transformed a demanding programme into a cohesive experience, reinforcing the overall success of the corporate convention and fully meeting the client’s expectations.
