The Client’s Request
Green Building Council Italia and the first Green Building Forum
At the end of 2024, Green Building Council Italia contacted Smart Eventi to take part in the tender for the organisation of the first Green Building Forum Italia, conceived as a national reference platform for the decarbonisation of the construction industry and the ecological transition of the built environment. Promoted in collaboration with Regione Lombardia and hosted in a prestigious Milanese building, the Forum was designed to move beyond fragmented debate, bringing together institutions, businesses and academia in a structured setting aimed at turning discussion into concrete decisions. The brief required a high-level institutional management approach, fully aligned with the presence of government officials, European representatives and key industry stakeholders. In this context, Smart Eventi’s ISO 20121 certification was recognised as a tangible guarantee of reliability, process maturity and organisational robustness.
Smart Eventi’s Proposal
Smart Eventi’s operational proposal for GBC Italy
The venue, a prestigious Milanese building, had been identified by the client as both a symbolic and operational location for the Forum, transformed for the occasion into a living workshop for the transition of the built environment. Within this framework, Smart Eventi assumed responsibility for the full management of core services required to deliver the Green Building Forum Italia 2025. Activities included catering, technical production and set design, simultaneous translation services, hostess and steward teams, as well as the drafting of the DUVRI through a specialised provider. Particular focus was placed on the management of institutional flows, transfers and guest handling, in light of the attendance of senior government figures. In parallel, Smart Eventi ensured continuous operational coordination across all suppliers, maintaining consistency and control throughout plenary sessions and thematic round tables dedicated to innovation, finance and governance, alongside official institutional engagements.
